How Does the Swing Glove Work?

The Swing Glove helps you practise with greater awareness of your wrist position.

Your hands are your point of contact with the club. The Swing Glove combines a Cabretta leather glove with an integrated swing guide containing a lightweight, flexible polyethylene insert. When your wrist bends, you receive feedback you can feel. This helps you pay attention to your wrist position during practice on the driving range.

The illustrations below show different stages of the swing. They accompany the explanations and are not a substitute for an individual assessment with a golf professional.

Wrist hinge

As you take the club back, observe your wrist position and how you hinge your wrists. The swing guide provides noticeable feedback when your wrist bends. Use this feedback to develop greater awareness of your movement.

Wrist position at impact

Your wrist position at impact is one of the elements to observe during practice. Pay attention to the feedback from the swing guide and discuss the position that suits your movement with your golf professional.

Wrist angle during the backswing

During the backswing, focus on your wrist angle. The feedback from the Swing Glove can serve as a reference during practice. It does not replace guidance on arm or elbow position.

The backswing and transition

Observe your wrist position during the backswing and at the start of the downswing. Pay attention to the feedback from the swing guide. To work on your club path, combine your practice with advice from a golf professional.

Moving through impact

During practice on the driving range, pay attention to your wrist position as you move through impact. The swing guide provides noticeable feedback when your wrist bends. Use this sensation to work consciously on your movement.

The follow-through

After impact, continue to observe your movement and wrist position. The Cabretta leather provides a secure grip on the club, while the swing guide gives you feedback on your wrist position.

The finish

Complete your movement while continuing to pay attention to what you feel. The Swing Glove is an aid for practising wrist position: it does not correct your entire swing on its own or guarantee a specific result.

A training aid for the driving range

Use the Swing Glove during practice on the driving range, alongside advice from your golf professional. It is not intended for tournament use.
